Warranty start date and duration

The warranty starts on the date the job is closed (or, for products, the delivery date) and runs for the period shown on your invoice. You can check it any time with the warranty lookup on this page.

Covered services and parts

The warranty covers the specific fault repaired, the work performed and the parts fitted in that job, on the same appliance and at the same address.

Exclusions

  • New or unrelated faults, or parts we did not work on.
  • Physical damage, liquid or water damage, pests, fire, or damage in transport not arranged by us.
  • Damage from electrical surges, lightning, voltage fluctuation or faulty building wiring, where applicable.
  • Unauthorised modification, or repairs by anyone else after our visit.
  • Misuse, or not following the manufacturer's or technician's instructions.
  • Normal wear and tear and consumables (filters, bulbs, fuses, batteries, gas top-ups unless the repaired leak recurs within the warranty).
  • Third-party products not bought from PowerWalla are covered only by their own manufacturer's warranty; our workmanship warranty still applies to our work on them.

Customer responsibilities

Use the appliance as the manufacturer intends, keep the invoice, report a recurring fault promptly, and give access for inspection.

Warranty claim process

  1. Look up your warranty on this page, or open the booking in Account → My Bookings (marked “Under warranty”) and choose Claim; or contact us with the booking code.
  2. Describe the problem and add a photo or video if you can.
  3. We schedule an inspection visit, normally within 48 hours.

Inspection process

The professional inspects the appliance and records whether the fault is covered. If it is not, you receive the reason and a quote before any chargeable work.

Replacement and repair rules

Covered faults are repaired free of charge, including labour and a covered part. If the same fault cannot be fixed after two warranty visits, we refund the labour charge for the original job. Defective products under brand warranty are handled through the brand's service process, and we help you with it.

Warranty void conditions

The warranty ends early if the appliance is opened, repaired or modified by anyone else after our visit, if the covered part is removed, or if the damage falls under the exclusions above.
